How do I sell stuff on my Consignment Merchant (CM)?

Leveling yourself to 50 you can collect a lot of good armors and such, some of it will be too nice to sell to a regular merchant. If you own a house, you can have a Consignment Merchant (click here for more info).

To sell and item on your CM, simply right-click on your house's CM. A window will appear with many slots, there are five (5) pages on  your CM and twenty (20) slots per page.

To place an item on your CM, simply open your inventory page and left-click on the item you want to place on your merchant, then left-click in an empty slot on your CM window. A pop-up will appear allowing you to set the price of the item you just placed.

To set a price, left-click on the up and down arrows. You can set price by platinum, gold, silver, and copper, you may use any combination of the four (4) or only one (1) to set a certain price. Using the up arrows will make the price slot go up, and the down arrows make the price go down. If you use the arrows alone, the price will increase in increments of one (1), you can shift +left-click on the arrows to make the price increase in increments of ten (10).

If you don't want to go through the hassle of using the money selector window each time to set a price, you can set it manually. You need to know the slot number, they range from 0-99, 0-19 page 1, 20-39 page 2, 40-59 page 3, 60-79 page 4, 80-99 page 5.

/setprice [slot number] [price in copper]

So, if you want to set an item in slot 25 for 50g you would type:

/setprice 25 500000

If you are placing multiple items on your merchant at the same price you can use a macro and move the items away from that slot after you price them (sometimes much less work than setting 10 items for 355g each...). To make a macro for this simply type:

/macro [macro name] /setprice [slot number] [price in copper]

So, if you want to set the price for mutiple items at 469g using slot 30 for your macro, type:

/macro 469g /setprice 30 4690000

and place the macro on your quick bar for easy use.
